Details

Youth Housewarming gifts are funded by a local grant. Written by our 3D Youth Leadership group to help support 17-25 year-olds who are aging out of Foster Care, pregnant/parenting and/or unconnected youth (do no have a family that can help support them). When a young person moves out on their own they can request to receive a housewarming gift to help them get settled into their new place.

Build collaboration among agencies, networks, and the broader community to find innovative solutions to improve the quality of life for older youth, especially unconnected youth, in the Panhandle. Coordinate and align services of agencies serving unconnected youth ages 14-25. Partners include: community action, BH providers, public health, schools, community college, economic development, local foundations, youth serving organizations and more.

Details

Hopeful Futures is a Society of Care created leadership development curriculum for Native Youth Leadership transitioning into adulthood. The curriculum focuses on recognizing, enhancing, and elevating each youth’s innate personality, gifts and talents. It features a series of 6 webi-circles of up to 2.5 hours (A webi-circle is a combination of facilitated leadership discussion and a talking circle.) The webi-circles focus on specific personal leadership qualities and traits to build confidence and prepare Native youth to thrive and lead.
