Community Partners is a Trauma Informed Organization, all staff receive trauma informed care training during orientation. All staff are encouraged to attend trauma informed care 8 hour training by Region 3. Trauma Informed Care training is listed as a priority training for all collaborative volunteers. In 2025, the collaborative will be documenting required, recommended and enhanced training sessions in the community along with who does the training and how to sign up to be trained. The board is discussing how our new office space could include a training center component for the community.

Details

The Mental Health Roundtable shares monthly updates on trauma-sensitive resources available in our community. We have also developed a centralized resource where providers can find specialized therapists to ensure families feel understood and respected. Training opportunities are shared at GCC meetings and displayed on our TV when free trainings available.

YC3 intends to host a "Youth and Family Thrives" conference. YC3 would like to invite other local businesses, organizations, and agencies to participate in the training. By providing this training, YC3 hopes to see an improvement in client interactions and increased networking opportunities.
