As a part of Community Response, system partners explore the gaps in access for children and families when no services are available in the community. These emerging needs are shared with the Steering Committee to explore as well in monthly Community Work Group meetings to determine innovative solutions to complex social issues. Partners willingly report funding opportunities for the collective to consider. Those funding opportunities are report to the Steering Committee to explore and prioritize through a community engagement process defined on our website for more information www.bcchp.org/innovative. Partners who bring funding opportunities to the table for consideration are invited to the next monthly Steering Committee to discuss five questions that were developed for the foundation of the collaborative. Those questions can also be found on the above mentioned website.
