Details
Host monthly meetings around specific topics for youth, food security, housing, parents, mental health, substance abuse, early childhood and child care to share resources among 5000+ volunteers of Buffalo County Community Partners. Emerging issues are gathered and share with the Steering Committee of the Well Being Collaborative to prioritize community conversations, data collection and engage new partners in a shared agenda. Volunteers will host several resource fairs though out the year as emerging areas are discussed and prioritized.

Collaborative Programs: Partnering with schools, community organizations, and local leaders to host workshops and trainings aimed at skill development for both youth and adults.(Family Cafes, Youth Town Hall, Circle of Security) Parent and Caregiver Support: Offering classes or seminars that focus on effective parenting strategies, mental health awareness, and tools for supporting children’s educational and emotional growth. (Family Cafes, Circle of Security) Youth Leadership Development: Creating programs that empower young individuals to develop leadership skills, such as public speaking, teamwork, and problem-solving, often through mentorship or community service projects. (4H Club for Middle Schoolers) Community Resource Networks: Building a network of services that families can access, including educational resources, vocational training, and personal development opportunities. (Central Navigation, Family Coaching, Financial Literacy Training, Findhelp, Electronic TVs, Webisite- Events and Community Resource Guide, Social Media) Accessible Education: Hosting events, such as family nights or cultural celebrations, that incorporate learning and personal growth opportunities
